Inbox: Chrome Desktop Notifications

Those of you who have either been using Inbox by Gmail for some time, or have at least tried Inbox by Gmail, have probably noticed there are no notifications on the desktop. Classic Gmail has had desktop notifications built in, as well as many third party extensions for various browsers.

I am pleased to inform you that desktop notifications exist for Inbox by Gmail as well. I have scoured the Chrome Webstore to try and find all of the extensions that provide notification, or similar, functionality. Below is the list with items I use marked with (*).

Thanks to +Tom Voute for bringing this to my attention: "It should be noted that all these notifiers are actually Unread counters of the Gmail API hence also notify for bundles whose notifications have been turned off in the mobile apps since you can't yet turn off notifications for specific bundles in the web version. For example, if you have a bundle set to show daily at 7:00 AM, the notifier will show an unread message immediately upon entering your inbox.  Currently the only way to get a notification that honors this setup is to use Pushbullet."

    It is better than nothing but it can't be called "Inbox desktop notifications" if you are using web version of Inbox on the desktop.
    All "inbox checkers" are just plain old Gmail unread messages counters. So they just can't inform you on Inbox popped up reminder or snoozed message which came back into Incomnig folder.
    The only way to aquire desktop notification on every Inbox event (like on mobile device) is Pushbullet, but that way looks weird: «Inbox mobile -> Notification -> Pushbullet mobile -> Pushbullet server -> Pushbullet desktop -> Desktop notification» instead of «Inbox web on desktop -> Desktop notification».
