Google Accounts: Changes to Avatars

Recently, Google began rolling out changes to the account owners profile picture/avatar that displays throughout the Google ecosystem. These Avatars help indicate to users when they are logged into their accounts when on Google product pages. 

Up until this rollout, users that did not have a profile picture setup in their account profile, had an avatar of the blue head.  This rollout is changing that avatar to reflect the first initial of either their first name or last name, based on the setup of their name in their profile. 

This change is rolling out slowly to all users and throughout the Google product family.
