Contact Cards in Gmail App

The Gmail mobile app offers a very convenient feature for users to quickly see the complete contact card for a sender of an email. No need to close or minimize Gmail, then open the Contacts app and then search for the contact to see details. 

This makes it very easy to quickly place a call or send a text to the sender if you have a phone number entered in their contact details. 

Simple to perform, just open the email and tap on the sender's avatar and the contact card will appear. Right from there you can tap on the appropriate icon or on the phone number to call or text.
