Inbox by Gmail: Change Default Email

If you are like me and have many email address setup in Inbox, you may want to change which one is your default email for sending. For those of you reading this and asking how you can add other email accounts to Inbox, just read this post. 


Currently, the default sending email address is the address you sign into your Gmail account with.  But did you know that you can change that? Its pretty simple. Just navigate to mail.google.com (if it redirects back to Inbox read here) and go to settings under the gear icon on the top left.  Once in the settings, go to the Accounts and Import tab. Scroll down to the email address you want to make default and click on default. Simple as that.
