  1. Hi. How do you insert the image into the template? There doesn't seem to be an insert command, only attach. I tried both by composing an email as well as creating a template.

    1. WHen attaching an image it defaults to insert, then you have the option of switching it to attach

  2. Hmm. does it have to be a certain format, like jpg? I'm trying to insert a gif logo, and it puts in a gray box with the file name. I did this i both template creation mode and email creation mode. I sent it. it didn't ask me, and it came as an attachment (shown as a gray box with file name). Can you give a little more step detail. I saw it in your video that you had a logo, and got a bit excited :-)

    1. Either should be fine - not sure why its giving you a grey box. What browser are you using?

  3. Ahh I figured it out. I was trying to attach an image from Google Drive, and expecting to see a choice to send as an attachment. But that doesn't work. If you upload from your Computer or if you Drag and dorp it from your file system then it shows that little circle with dots, and then it gives you an option to Send as an Attachment. If you don't then it embeds and sends. Interestingly, when you compose a template from Settings (vs. email) it doesn't give an option to attach an image, only insert a link. So only way to include an image/logo is via compose by email.

    Thanks!

  4. How can I use an image that is a hyperlink? I want the logo to be clickable. The only way I've found to do this is using Gmelius in a really clugey way.
Thanks for all the support you give us.

    1. I learned a way a few months ago to use Gmelius for this, but not I can't find it. I've been using it, with no problem, but then played around with the template approach and lost it! When I find the info I'll let you know.

    2. I found the site and it has nothing to do with Gmelius. Just create a hyperlink signature in Gmail. Then select, copy, past into the signature in Inbox. I just did it and the link is retained.

  5. Good stuff, thanks.
I would very much like to send emails using a different email from within my Inbox account. This is possible in Gmail, is it possible in Inbox?
    Thx

  6. This is awesome. Thank you, Scott.

Is there any way to have Inbox insert a template automatically for replies, forwards, and new messages? It would be kind of like clicking On/Off for Add Signature, but for templates.
