Gmail: Custom Swipe Settings on Android

Seems a new feature started rolling out on the Gmail Android App. Custom settings for swiping emails can now be found in the general settings of the Gmail App

Simply put, you can now customize what happens when you swipe right or swipe left on an email. To access this new setting, click the three horizontal lines on the top left, then choose settings>general settings> swipe actions.

You have a few options for customization, pre-set choices, so not really fully customizable. You can set these options for either Left or Right swiping. Options include, Archive, Mark Unread, Mark Read, Trash, Snooze, Move to label, or None.

This is definitely something that users have been asking for a while. So many people will be very happy with this new setting.
